"Unearthing the Secrets of a Star" is a story about an underground research facility South Dakota. Working in collaboration with the Strategic Content team at Notre Dame, I led the development aspect on this project. In addition to building out the markup for the page, I also added animations through the use of CSS, JavaScript, and SVGs.
My contributions
- Using CSS Animations to rotate stars and the hue of the sky in the header.
- Using JavaScript and an SVG to randomize and animate the shooting stars across the sky in the header.
- Using JavaScript to animate the map of the facility based on the scroll position of the user.
